Natural History Museum of the Bieszczady National Park in Ustrzyki Dolne

The exhibition at the BdPN Natural History Museum occupies an area of more than 850 sqm and consists of about 30 exhibits combining historical exhibits, mock-ups, dioramas with state-of-the-art multimedia technology and hands-on exhibits. The goal was to create an exhibition that would present the museum’s collections in a way that would be of interest to a modern audience.

The exhibition consists of numerous dioramas presenting Bieszczady’s flora and fauna, “brought to life” thanks to modern multimedia solutions, fossils presenting the ancient history of the area, as well as perfectly reproduced elements of architecture, photographs and audiovisual installations telling the story of local culture.

In addition to designing and implementing the exhibition and visual setting, Warsaw-based TRIAS AVI was also responsible for modernizing the interior of the Environmental Education Center. This part of the task also included the construction of an elevator that will facilitate access for people with limited mobility.
